Terminal Worker (Operations Attenants)

We are currently hiring a full-time Operations Attendant for an on-site role at Houston, TX. This role supports the daily functions of our terminal, including tasks such as handling cement products, operating equipment, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring all work aligns with safety protocols. Additional tasks may involve routine maintenance, equipment operation, and assisting with various terminal duties as assigned by supervisors. The successful candidate will take on multiple logistics and materials handling responsibilities that help ensure operational effectiveness and continuity across the supply chain.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety standards, guidelines, and procedures at all times
  • Promptly report any accidents or safety incidents
  • Conduct risk assessments before beginning any assigned task
  • Only carry out work for which proper training and authorization have been received
  • Use terminal equipment to unload cement from vessels or trucks into designated storage areas
  • Review documentation to confirm shipment details for incoming and outgoing loads
  • Operate and monitor terminal machinery and equipment effectively
  • Read and interpret equipment gauges, panels, and instrumentation
  • Carry out equipment inspections at the beginning of each shift in line with preventive maintenance routines
  • Participate in training programs to develop technical and operational skills
  • Work collaboratively with terminal staff to communicate updates and solve problems proactively
  • Perform manual tasks with hand tools or other equipment as needed
  • Operate mobile machinery such as skid steers, front-end loaders, forklifts, bobcats, hi-reach lifts, and other light-duty equipment
  • Organize and execute preventive and corrective maintenance at the terminal
  • Troubleshoot and assist in resolving equipment failures, including major repairs
  • Support additional terminal-related duties as requested by management
