Job Summary

Abrazo West - CT Tech - Travel or Local - 13-week contracts

This role provides direct clinical patient care with Tenet's in-house contingent Pool, Trusted Resource Associates. Work directly with Tenet on a Travel Contract or Local Contract. With this in-house assignment you will be part of the contingent workforce pool, yet, a W-2 Tenet employee and wear a Tenet employee badge so you blend in as staff and are not outstanding as a Contractor. You will have direct access to Tenet's hiring managers and, if you ever turn permanent at a Tenet hospital, you will have built up tenure.

The CT (Computerized Tomography) Tech with TRA is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

MINIMUM EDUCATION FORMAL TWO YEAR RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY TRAINING IN AMA APPROVED SCHOOL WHICH MEETS REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRY BY THE ARRT

PREFERRED EDUCATION

BS in Radiology or equivalent

EXPERIENCE MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

2 years with specific experience in CT scan (computerized tomography) components

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

· American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; or · Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) in computed tomography; or · ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification AND documented training on computed tomography · State License-if required · CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association · CT Registry within 6 months
