Description

The Pool Advisor is responsible for identifying, quoting, and closing repair and equipment upgrade opportunities including new maintenance upsells to customers not on weekly service. This individual will partner closely with field technicians, service managers, and customers to assess pool needs, recommend repair solutions, and deliver outstanding in person customer experience from quote to sold.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to evaluate pool repair and equipment needs.
  • Generate detailed repair quotes and present solutions to customers.
  • Follow up on open estimates to close repair and upgrade opportunities.
  • Partner with operations and technicians to ensure smooth job execution.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM of all quotes, communications, and outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new repair opportunities within existing service customers.
  • Educate customers on energy-efficient and performance-improving equipment options.
  • Cloverleaf around current inspections to offer weekly maintenance services or repair inspections to neighboring houses.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Meet and exceed daily inspection goal of 6-8 inspections per day and close rate goals.
  • Utilize coached sales methodologies to deliver sales goals.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales or repair in the pool industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude with pool systems, plumbing, or electrical required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license
