Position Summary:
QRG is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to help oversee the management of its portfolio of properties. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for the management of the portfolio, including but not limited to, coordinating move in/outs, meeting vendors, unit turnover, handling and processing invoices, managing maintenance requests, scheduling maintenance techs, confirming tenants’ on time payment of rent and other associated fees via our online property management platform, and other tasks and responsibilities typically required in an assistant property management role. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a rapidly growing team within a ‘best-in-class’ organization.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and updating rent rolls/Appfolio
Establish and maintain positive tenant relationships
Manage move-ins and move-outs
Assist in preparing annual budgets
Handle and process invoices
Manage online portal to monitor rent collection, maintenance requests, etc
Responsible for tenant screening, employer verification, background checks
Vendor bid procurement
Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed
Required Skills:
Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative in projects and tasks
High degree of integrity
Strong organizational skills
Success in multi-tasking while maintaining a strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both in written format and oral presentation
Maintaining personal skills and establishing relationships to advance professional networks and facilitate communication both within and outside the company
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Appfolio, Costar, InDesign experience is a plus
Ability to perform light maintenance tasks is a plus
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Property Management
Local travel is required
Spanish language proficiency is a plus
