Job description

Robertson Heating Supply Co. has an immediate opening in our Engineering Department for a Technical Support Specialist.

This position can be based out of our corporate office in Alliance, OH - or can be based out of Western PA.

Seeking qualified individual to perform and assist with the following responsibilities:

· HVAC technical troubleshooting

· Hydronic troubleshooting

· Pump sizing

· Radiant floor heat design and layout

· Heat loss/Heat gain load calculations

· Training- classes/seminars for installers and field technicians on installation procedures and troubleshooting techniques. (requires some travel to other branches/territories)

· Administrative work such as phone and email correspondence, setting up products, pricing, and quotations.

· Work with dealers concerning quality issues, packaging issues, freight damages, etc. Report and follow up with the manufacturer and respond back to the dealer as needed.

· Work with our branches and Salesmen

· Warranty Assistance- assist and help process claims for unusual claims or circumstances, as well as review denied claims and help obtain the information needed to get the claim approved.

· Some Brands we deal with are Rheem, Ruud HVAC, Weil-McLain and Tempstar/ICP.

Skills needed to perform these duties:

· Great communication skills

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook- as well as other computer programs.

· Read Installation & Operating manuals on new products, have a good understanding of product and know where to find information quickly when needed.

· Must work well as a team.

This is a Full-Time Monday through Friday office position based out of the Alliance location, or Western PA. Some minimal travel is required to local job sites and in between branches, with also the possibility of traveling further distance for schooling provided by our manufacturers.  

8 Saturdays a year required of all Salary personnel. 

Salary plus bonus earning potential.
