Job description

Temporary Part-Time Receptionist

Tri-CAP is seeking a Temporary part-time receptionist to provide professional, courteous service in our agency reception area. If you are looking for a part-time position with some flexibility in hours, and a team-based approach that helps form the backbone of the organization, this could be the position for you! This temporary assignment would involve coverage four days a week, Monday through Thursday, for 4-5 hours per day; it would run through September 4th, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing professional, courteous reception and phone coverage at agency reception area.
  • Processing and routing of voicemails, general inbox email, faxes, and agency mail.
  • Assisting with administrative projects (such as bulk mailings), as needed.
  • Performing opening and closing facility maintenance and safety checks, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school equivalent and one year of experience and/or education in office administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and a high level of clerical office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both in person and by phone.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to operate standard office machines (fax machine, copier, mailing machine, etc.)
  • Bi-lingual skills

Pay for this temporary part-time position is $18-$20 per hour, dependent on experience.
