Job description

Temporary HR Assistant LHH Recruitment is working with a manufacturing company in Mesa who is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary HR Assistant to join their team while covering a maternity leave. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting HR operations, providing excellent employee service, and working in a fast-paced environment. This is fully onsite, compensating up to $28/hr.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accurate documentation
  • Process employment verifications and personnel file requests
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and employee orientations
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and HR documentation
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other HR-related documents
  • Perform data entry and maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Assist with special HR projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting Human Resources
  • Previous HR Assistant or Human Resources administrative experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with an HRIS system is a plus

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
