Seat Assembler / Material Handler

Location: Normal, IL
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM 12:00 AM (Shift schedule may change based on production needs.)

Job Summary

We are hiring Seat Assemblers and Material Handlers to join a growing automotive manufacturing team in Normal, Illinois. These positions are ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. Team members will assemble vehicle seating components, transport materials throughout the production area, and help maintain efficient workflow while meeting quality and safety standards.

No automotive assembly experience is required, but previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or material handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble vehicle seat components according to work instructions and quality standards.
  • Install seat covers, foam, frames, hardware, and other components using hand and power tools.
  • Move materials and production supplies to workstations.
  • Load, unload, and organize parts and finished products.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
  • Assist in other production or warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
