Job Description Summary

Position Objective:
As an Outside Sales Representative specializing in temporary fabric structures at Sunbelt Rentals, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, building, and maintaining relationships with customers, and providing exceptional service. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team.

Position Responsibilities:
* Consultative Selling: Understand customers' needs, preferences, and project requirements to recommend appropriate temporary fabric solutions and additional equipment or services
* Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other sales strategies to expand the customer base
* Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, contractors, and industry partners to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business
* Quoting and Proposal Development: Prepare accurate and competitive rental quotes and proposals, ensuring alignment with customers' budgets and timelines
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiate rental agreements, terms, and conditions with customers while maximizing profitability and adhering to company policies
* Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth and strategic positioning
* Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-rental follow-up, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
* Administrative Duties: Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and rental transactions using company CRM software and other tools
* Training and Development: Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise through training programs, workshops, and self-directed learning initiatives
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
* 2+ years Sales experience preferably in the construction, equipment rental, or related industry
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to travel up to 50% as needed

Training & Travel Requirements:This position includes a 60-90-day training period during which the employee will travel approximately 75% of the time nationwide (typically three weeks on the road followed by one week off). During this period, the employee will receive hands-on training in the installation of temporary fabric structures and must be able to pass a drug screening.

Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - 55,000.00

Total compensation package includes base pay, company vehicle, and robust commission plan.

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
