Video Editor (Per Diem)
Job no: 507109

Job Summary
Video Editor supports our digital storytelling efforts. This role is responsible for producing engaging, high quality video content for use across multiple platforms, including our website and other digital channels. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong understanding of video production and a passion for promoting health education and student success.
Essential Functions
  • Create and edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos to support marketing, recruitment, and institutional storytelling.
  • Produce documentary-style interviews and promotional video content featuring students, faculty, researchers, alumni, and healthcare professionals for the College's website and social media platforms.
  • Transform raw footage into engaging visual stories through professional editing, color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, captions, and final delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to create original video content that strengthens the College's brand and effectively communicates its programs, research, and community impact.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong storytelling and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work on a per diem basis, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in television or film production.
  • Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific video formats.
  • Basic photography skills.
  • Experience in higher education or healthcare-related content.

Additional Information
