Job description

Located just minutes away from all the excitement of the glittering Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino provides guests with a relaxing getaway perfect for business travelers, a long weekend with friends or your next family vacation. We are looking for a motivated, independent and people person Full Time Stock Host, Retail to support management in meeting visual merchandise standards and to keep the retail store neatly and organized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify and prepare merchandise and operating supplies for the retail shop while maintaining a strong sense of pride and responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of shopping and storage areas.
  • Responsible for performing in an accurate and efficient manner, in accordance with department procedures regarding the processing of all retail shipments.
  • Receive incoming shipments of merchandise and verify their accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Prepare merchandise for the sales floor or stockroom as appropriate.
  • Count, inspect, and prepare merchandise upon delivery to transport it to retail store and storage room. Unpack and inspect goods to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Stock and replenish merchandise in stores following all department and visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and promptly notify management when restocking is required.
  • Assist in preparing for and conducting physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Assist sales associates as needed with guests' needs following the company’s guest service standards.
  • Maintain excellent grooming appearance and provide excellent customer service and able to upsell all times.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly stockroom by organizing merchandise according to established procedures.
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with one (1) year of retail stock experience.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills with High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management and a proactive mindset.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (i.e., computer, scanner, copier, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge, understanding and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions and daily responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
