UIC Nappairit is seeking a General Laborer for a Remote location in Alaska. This position will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction site. Will clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, assist in concrete placement, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. Will identify and load/offload building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, wheelbarrows, small mechanical hoists, measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May assist other craft workers. May perform other duties as assigned. This is a Davis Bacon Act (DBA) position and is estimated to work approximately 60hrs per week.
