JOB TYPEClassification: Non ExemptSupervises Positions:JOB SUMMARY

The Total Rewards Specialist implements all functions related to employee benefit programs, including group health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, voluntary benefits, and retirement benefits. Leads or assists in all activities related to annual open enrollment. Orients new employees on organization's benefit package. Responsible for administration of employee leave and the leave system.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources and benefit administration required. Healthcare human resources experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy.

Builds rapport with team members. Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner. Must be flexible and able to work varied or additional hours to fulfill the needs of the position/department. Open to change and new information, change in priorities or unexpected obstacles. Must possess a high degree of professionalism. Maintains confidentiality of all information and situations. Must have strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

The base compensation range for this role is $36.06 hourly.

Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.  Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSPhysical Demand Code:

Medium to Heavy Physical Demand: The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.
