Job description

Seasonal Snow Subcontractors – Multiple Positions

GroundSystems is seeking dependable and experienced individuals and subcontractors to join our Seasonal Snow Operations Team in the Dayton area. Help us deliver high-quality, efficient snow and ice removal services during the winter season.

We offer both direct-hire seasonal positions using company equipment and subcontractor opportunities for those with their own equipment. This is a part-time temporary opportunity contingent on snowfall.

Subcontractor Positions (Use your equipment):

  • Plow Truck Operator – Up to $110/hr
  • Plow & Salt Combo (P/S Combo) – Up to $130/hr
  • Skid Loader Operator – Up to $130/hr
  • Loader Operator – Up to $275/hr
  • Sidewalk Snow Removal Crew – Up to $45/hr (must provide transportation and crew)
  • Snow Equipment Operator – Up to $50/hr (e.g., your own skid steers, backhoes or GroundSystems equipment. Must have experience.)
  • CDL Snow Truck Driver – Up to $50/hr (must meet insurance requirements)

Responsibilities:

  • Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and other areas
  • Operate snow removal equipment (Skid Steer, Backhoe, Loader, Plow Truck, UTVs, etc.)
  • Apply deicing materials using machines, trucks, or manually
  • Maintain and clean trucks and equipment as needed
  • Follow all company and safety guidelines on every site.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in winter conditions
  • Must understand and speak basic English
  • Must follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE
  • Available 24/7 (including holidays) during snow events and able to arrive on-site within 1 hour of dispatch
  • Must use TimeScape App to log hours, track site activity, and submit required documentation
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (applies to driver roles only)
