ABOUT NORTHWEST PARKWAY:
The Northwest Parkway is a nine-mile-long toll road that is a part of the Colorado highway system, connecting E-470 at I-25 with US36 in the north Denver area. It serves the region by providing convenient access to residential and employment centers, including the City of Boulder and the Denver International Airport. Constructed and maintained entirely with private funds, the road opened in 2003 and was acquired by VINCI Highways in 2024.

JOB PROFILE: Snow Plow Driver (Seasonal)
Location:   Broomfield, Colorado (Northwest Parkway operations)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Seasonal
POSITION OVERVIEW: 
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Snow Removal Driver to join our team. As a Snow Removal Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and clear passageways during the winter months by operating snow removal equipment. Your efforts will help maintain accessibility and safety for our clients and the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Operate snowplows, salt spreaders, and other snow removal equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow and ice emergencies.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Coordinate with the snow removal team to ensure efficient progress and project completion.
  • Follow safety protocols and workplace procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to the supervisor immediately.
  • Document completion of tasks and maintain logs for accountability and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Valid CDL Class B or greater driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating snow removal equipment, such as plows or salt spreaders, is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical capability to move and operate heavy equipment and handle winter weather conditions.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to perform field work, including climbing and working at heights
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • May lift up to 20 pounds
  • Combination of office and field-based work
