Job description


Roeder industries is a textile screen print supply company focusing on customer success.
Along with Supplies, Roeder Industries has 3 other divisions; Equipment - New and Used, Service and Repair; and Training/Aid.
Roeder Industries is currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate position to start immediately for Shipping and General Warehouse.
The main objectives of this position are:
  • Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborates and communicates with the rest of the team involved in the shipment of products.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
  • Maintains a clean and neat area.
  • Engages with customers, vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
  • Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
  • Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
  • Ensure all shipments receive the proper labeling and are packaged to arrive safely
  • Accurately package, label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges
  • Place merchandise in a warehouse by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
  • Assistance with additional duties.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products exceeding 65 pounds continuously
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Microsoft office, google g-suite, zoho suite, ect.)
  • Team player with organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Follow safety protocols and requirements
  • Basic math, good communication and organizational skills

Preferable:
  • Interest in or previous experience with textile screen printing
  • The ability and motivation to learn
