Job Title: CPQ Telecom Product Owner
Location: Remote - USA, Travel as per client schedule

We are seeking a highly skilled CPQ Telecom Product Owner to oversee our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) initiatives within the telecommunications sector. This critical leadership role requires a deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of telecom products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom, coupled with extensive experience in product management and development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate the vision and strategy for CPQ products tailored to the telecom industry. Ensure alignment with broader business goals and market needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, engineering, and support to ensure the CPQ platform meets business and customer requirements. Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Feature Development and Prioritization: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, focusing on feature development that enhances functionality and user experience. Ensure timely delivery of new features and updates.
  • Market and Customer Insight: Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product enhancements and new opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics and Analysis: Monitor and report on product performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about product enhancements and lifecycle management.
  • Leadership and Team Guidance: Provide guidance and leadership to the product team, fostering an environment of innovation and high performance. Ensure team alignment with the product vision and business objectives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in the telecom industry, specifically with CPQ platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the telecom sector's requirements and challenges, especially in CPQ processes.
  • Experience in managing full product lifecycle, from conception through launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior management and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
