Job description

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

  1. Building Security: Checks all exterior doors and windows daily to ensure they are shut, locked, and secure.
  2. HVAC Maintenance: Cleans evaporator and condenser coils, replaces filters, and helps service motors and mechanical gear.
  3. Storage Organization: Cleans, hoses down, and organizes storage rooms, boiler rooms, and basements.
  4. Site Checks: Inspect all district buildings, sidewalks, and play areas for safety and cleanliness.
  5. Moving Equipment: Moves heavy furniture and equipment between rooms or buildings as needed.
  6. Minor Repairs: Fixes basic hardware, carpentry, and plumbing issues.
  7. Painting: Prepares surfaces and performs interior and exterior painting.
  8. Groundskeeping: Keeps school grounds clean, picks up trash, and performs basic yard work.
  9. Reporting: Immediately report property damage, safety hazards, or major repair needs to the Supervisor.
  10. Waste Disposal: Disposes of bulk trash and materials according to district rules.
  11. Professionalism: Works cooperatively with the maintenance team and school staff.
  12. Physical Labor: Lifts up to 50 pounds and performs strenuous work, including climbing ladders.
  13. General Tasks: Completes other maintenance projects as directed by the Supervisor.
