Job description

We are hiring a Field Operations Coordinator / Administrative Support professional to join a construction project team at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position (1-year temporary period) working a day shift, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will provide on-site administrative and operational support in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring smooth coordination between field teams, subcontractors, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site administrative support including reporting, documentation, and invoicing
  • Support Job Safety Analysis (JSA) preparation, updates, and submissions
  • Coordinate schedules, timesheets, and communication with field teams and subcontractors
  • Track daily production data and project progress using digital tools
  • Maintain site logs, schedules, visitor records, and badge access control

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of admin or construction site support experience
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
