Carpenters Needed – Steel Stud Experience Required

📍 Rochester, MN (Southern MN job sites)

💵 $20–$30/hr (DOE)

We’re hiring Commercial Carpenters with steel stud experience for ongoing work in the Rochester area. Great for carpenters who enjoy fast-paced commercial projects and want steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term opportunities.

About the Role

You’ll install, assemble, and secure steel stud framing systems for walls, ceilings, and partitions. Work includes blueprint reading, layout, cutting/measuring, and working alongside project managers and other trades. Occasional drywall hanging and related tasks may be included.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Install and assemble steel stud framing systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs
  • Measure, cut, and secure studs, tracks, and components
  • Work with project managers, foremen, and other trades
  • Follow OSHA and company safety practices at all times
  • Perform quality checks on framing work
  • Assist with drywall installation when needed
Ideal Candidate
  • 2+ years commercial steel stud framing experience
  • Able to read construction documents and layout plans
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and steel-framing equipment
  • Strong safety awareness and reliable work habits
  • Can work independently or with a team
  • Has reliable transportation and can travel to Southern MN job sites

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
