These positions are usually arranged through staffing agencies and can last from a few days to several months. Temporary staff are often brought in to cover for permanent employees on leave, handle seasonal workload increases, or contribute to special projects. This arrangement provides flexibility for both employers and workers, allowing businesses to respond quickly to changing needs and individuals to gain diverse work experience.
