Role Summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Certified Electrician for a direct hire field position supporting residential solar and battery installations throughout the Chicagoland area.

This is a hands-on electrical position responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems associated with residential solar and energy storage equipment. The Electrician will perform Main Panel Upgrades, battery installations, grid interconnections, and other electrical work while ensuring compliance with current NEC and local electrical codes.

Required

  • Electrical installation and repair experience
  • Valid Journeyman License, Electrician Certification, Wireman License, or equivalent based on applicable state/local requirements
  • Experience working with electrical systems up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC
  • Knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes
  • strong electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently in residential field environments
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a driving background check
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • strong safety awareness and customer service skills

Preferred

  • Experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
