Job description

  • Lead and collaborate on software work involving trading infrastructure, computing and data processing, flexible model-development pipelines, and related areas
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust software supporting trading strategies and research initiatives
  • Engage in complex projects from requirements gathering through software design and implementation
  • Reason about supporting and dependent technologies
  • Communicate effectively with teammates
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Software Engineers and receive mentorship and coaching
Requirements
  • Experience developing in a Linux environment with a focus on performance, concurrency, and correctness using Python, R, Java, Go, and/or C/C++
  • Demonstrated backend engineering experience with databases, large-scale data processing, and highly available services
  • Ability to design, develop, and deploy a back-end application given design specifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork
  • Familiarity with modern deployment and build tooling such as Kubernetes and Bazel (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
  • Graduating class of 2027
  • Authorization to work in the United States
