Position Summary
Temporary Operations Support Staff
Show Me CenterPart-Time, Variable Shifts
Position Available/Potential Start Date: 7/1/2026
Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the Show Me Center through performing custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, window cleaning and trash removal
  • Setups and teardowns of Show Me Center events and other on-campus and off-campus events
  • Restocking supplies in restrooms and other areas of the facility
  • General light maintenance work
  • Provide excellent customer service to all facility guests
  • Maintain clear communication with other facility personnel, event coordinators, and guests

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • General knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accomodation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Reliable transportation
  • Prior custodial or maintenance experience is a plus
