Available Shifts:

  • A Shift ($19.00/hour): 7:00am - 3:00pm M-F

  • B Shift ($21.50/hour): 3:00pm - 11:00pm M-F

  • C Shift ($21.50/hour): 11:00pm - 7:00am S-TH

  • Morning ($19.00/hour): 7:00am - 7:00pm

  • Night ($21.50/hour): 7:00pm - 7:00am

Work Performed:

  • Manually remove finished bags from line and pack in cartons

  • Perform quality checks and record information.

  • Perform basic adjustments and measurements on assigned equipment with little support from the cell leader and/or group leader to maintain quality specifications.

  • Prepare input rolls for splicing to current product

  • Inform cell leader and/or group leader of operating problems.

  • Keep accurate records of reclaim and downtime.

  • Maintain clean, safe work area.

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all plant and departmental safety procedures and guidelines.

  • Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor and/or group leader.

  • Communicate effectively with off-going and on-coming shift personnel.

  • Give assistance to co-workers to reduce reclaim and downtime.

  • May train other personnel of lower job levels.

Requirements of Position:

  • 3-5 months as a Converting Trainee

  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods

  • Able to grip and reach

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Good mathematical skills.

  • Able to work overtime as required.

  • Abide by company’s attendance policy

  • Continuous learning will be expected

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.50 per hour
