The Data Entry Specialist plays a key role in supporting business operations and maintaining accurate system data through administrative and analytical assistance. Reporting to the Data Management Supervisor, this role is responsible for entering, updating, and validating data, preparing data reports, assisting with data quality control, and contributing to overall data integrity efforts.This position supports the full data lifecycle-from initial data intake through ongoing maintenance-ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. The Data Management team serves as a central resource for maintaining reliable information across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesCore Support Functions- Provide data entry and reporting support related to new records and data updates
- Support data accuracy initiatives by assisting in audits and maintaining data integrity
- Help resolve data discrepancies, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in identifying data inconsistencies and support corrective actions
- Coordinate data intake activities to ensure a smooth and accurate entry process
- Track data quality metrics and compile data for leadership reporting
- Support administration of data validation processes and audits
- Maintain accurate records and assist with updates across systems
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across departments
- Participate in team meetings and departmental initiatives
Principal DutiesData Reporting Preparation:Assist in compiling data, preparing reports, and generating insights to support operational review meetings
Data Request Handling:Process internal and external requests for data, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Data Quality Analysis:Conduct research and analysis on data discrepancies, providing actionable insights to support data accuracy efforts
Data Intake Coordination:Track data entry progress and ensure all steps are completed while maintaining communication with stakeholders
Administrative Support:Provide administrative support such as scheduling, correspondence, and document management
Data Integrity Monitoring:Monitor data quality metrics, identify trends, and support strategies to improve data accuracy and consistency
Reporting & Insights:Generate reports on data entry performance and data quality, highlighting opportunities for improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Customer Support, etc.) to ensure data consistency across systems
Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and data entry processes

- Equivalent experience (e.g., 3+ years in relevant roles with demonstrated data entry and administrative responsibilities) may be considered in lieu of formal education
Experience1-3 years of experience in a data-focused or support role, such as:
