Job description

North Phoenix, AZ | Onsite During Ramp → Hybrid After Quota Attainment

Break Into Technology Sales With a Clear Path to Growth!

Are you looking for an opportunity to launch your career in technology sales with a company that actually invests in developing its people?

AlwaysHired is hiring two Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our clients growing team. This is an opportunity to build foundational sales skills, work directly with experienced sales professionals, and grow into a full-cycle sales role.

Our people are the product. We are a high-growth IT services and cybersecurity company with a strong culture, real career paths, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. Our employees stay and grow with us, with an average employee tenure of 10 years.

Why This Opportunity?

Many companies keep SDRs in the same role because they view promotion as a cost. At One Step, we take a different approach.

We believe developing SDRs into successful sales professionals is how we grow the business. Our goal is to train high-potential SDRs and provide a path toward full-cycle sales opportunities.

What You'll Do

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for creating new sales opportunities and starting conversations with prospective customers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Making outbound sales calls to prospective businesses
  • Researching companies and identifying potential opportunities
  • Connecting with business decision-makers
  • Qualifying prospects and scheduling meetings for the sales team
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records in HubSpot
  • Learning about IT services, cybersecurity, and technology solutions
  • Partnering with sales and marketing teams to generate pipeline

This role is about starting relationships, asking great questions, and opening doors for the sales team.

Compensation & Career Growth

First 3 months (Ramp Period):

  • $2,500/month during training and onboarding

After successful completion of ramp:

  • $49,500 base salary
  • $60,000–$70,000 estimated first-year OTE

Career Path:

  • Clear opportunity to grow into a full-cycle sales role
  • Promotion opportunities based on performance and readiness

What We're Looking For

You do not need previous technology sales experience. We are looking for someone who is sharp, coachable, motivated, and excited to build a career in sales.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Previous cold calling experience (B2B or B2C)
  • Experience making outbound sales calls and creating conversations with new prospects
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with new people
  • A track record of reliability, strong tenure, and/or career progression
  • Natural curiosity and ability to learn quickly
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take coaching
  • Comfort handling rejection and staying persistent

This Role Is a Great Fit For Someone Who:

  • Wants to break into technology sales
  • Is motivated by career growth and advancement
  • Enjoys talking with people and building relationships
  • Wants to join a stable company with long-term growth opportunities
  • Is willing to put in the work to build a successful sales career

Location: North Phoenix, AZ

Work Schedule: Onsite during ramp period; hybrid opportunity after quota attainment

If you're looking for a company where you can learn, grow, and build a long-term career in sales, we'd love to meet you.
