We're looking for a Live Content Marketing Manager (Contractor) to help scale the editorial strategy and programming for Roblox's growing live content ecosystem. This role will focus on developing and executing editorial storytelling across social content, podcasts, and livestreams helping ensure our live programming delivers meaningful narratives for creators, developers, parents, and the broader Roblox community.
This role will partner closely with the Product Marketing, Communications, and Creative teams to plan compelling episodes, shape editorial narratives, and translate longform content into a broader marketing flywheel.
This is a Short Term position for 6 months with potential for a Full-Time Opportunity. Role Reports to Director of Corporate Marketing and is based in our San Mateo, CA office.
You Will:
  • Develop content for live content programming across episodic video on social media, podcasts, and livestreams.
  • Write run-of-shows, interview questions, and content briefs for live content series.
  • Partner with hosts, leaders, and creators to shape compelling conversations.
  • Identify moments tied to product launches, creator stories, and cultural moments.
  • Partner cross-functionally across marketing and communications to ensure editorial themes align with company priorities.

You Have:
  • 6+ years experience in content marketing, editorial programming, or podcasting specializing in social-first content for digital-native audiences.
  • Strong editorial instincts and ability to develop compelling narratives for long-form and short-form video, social, and live formats.
  • Experience writing show outlines, run-of-show documents, and interview guides.
  • Familiarity with podcast ecosystems, and short-form video distribution.
  • Ability to collaborate across marketing, creative, and production teams.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to this temporary position.
Monthly Salary Range
$12,657.50-$15,945 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
