Outpatient Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5 days a week, 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. This role includes delegating and directing discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration.

Responsibilities
  • Completes comprehensive evaluations and develops appropriate treatment plans and goals.
  • Documents medical records clearly and accurately in a timely manner.
  • Participates in supervising students and providing a positive learning environment.
  • Creates an individualized professional development plan and pursues continuing education.
  • Adheres to state practice acts and maintains professional licensure in good standing.
  • Contributes to organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
  • 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
