This temporary opportunity is perfect for RNs who are committed to making a meaningful impact during flu season.We are currently hiring:Registered Nurses (RNs): at $37/hour Location SupportWhile all caregivers must be available to work at all Florida Hospital Campuses (divided between North Region and South Region), floating will be required between their local ambulatory sites including:North Region Family Health Center of Stuart, Indian River Hospital Sebastian Primary Care and Urgent Care, Martin North Health and Wellness Center, Tomsich Health and Medical Center of Palm Beach County, Indian River Hospital Pointe West Primary Care and Urgent Care, Martin North Health and Wellness Center, Palm City, Medical Outpatient Center, Palm Beach Gardens, Health and Wellness Center - Hobe SoundSouth RegionCoral Springs Family Health and Surgery Center, Krupa Center, Wellington Medical Office Building, Parkland ClinicShift & Schedule Details:A minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week is requiredHospital Campus hours: 5:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (8 or 12-hour shifts)Ambulatory locations hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (8-hour shifts)Saturday shifts will be requiredRequirements:Must have a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to hireMust have Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.Orientation Details:All selected candidates must attend mandatory orientation:Location: Martin North Campus (North Region) or Weston Campus - Braathen Bldg. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees and community.

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Certifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
  • Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.

Work Experience:

  • Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
  • Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
  • Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: active or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and /or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
