JOB DESCRIPTION (JD) CONTRACT
Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Bedford, Pennsylvania
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
Order Reason: New Opening
Classification: Contract / Temporary
Shift Details
  • Shift Type: 2
  • Start Time: 2:45 PM
  • End Time: 11:15 PM
  • Meal Break: 30 minutes (unpaid)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
  • Schedule: Days as assigned by facility (may include weekends and holidays)
Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour (W2)
  • Overtime: Paid per state and federal labor regulations
  • Meal Breaks: 30-minute unpaid break per shift
  • Travel & Housing: If applicable, per travel agreement or stipend policy
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and Pennsylvania state regulations.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Observe, assess, and document patient conditions accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Utilize facility EMR system for documentation and reporting.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment procedures.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned by the facility's supervisory team.
Qualifications
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or compact license).
  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (preferably in long-term care or post-acute care).
  • Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must meet all facility compliance and onboarding requirements prior to assignment.
