• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ psychological and emotional health, developing individualized treatment plans that align with best practices in mental health care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to the unique needs of clients in a detox setting, effectively addressing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
• Facilitate group counseling sessions, offering patients a platform to share their experiences and foster community support.
• Maintain excellent record-keeping practices utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document treatment interventions, client progress, and ongoing evaluations.
• Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, promoting an integrated approach to recovery and wellness.

As an LCSW at Solomon Counseling Center, you will primarily work with clients in a detox center who are experiencing severe substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The population served includes adults from various backgrounds, many of whom come from underprivileged communities. • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance abuse setting, with a preference for experience specifically with detox clients.
• Training in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing techniques is highly beneficial.
