Job description

Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is hiring for an RN in Humble, TX. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

Location: Humble, TX

Duration: Temp-to- Hire

Schedule: 8am - 5pm Monday -Friday

Pay rate range: $44-47/hour

Job duties for this position include:

  • Prepares and submits patient documents for scanning

  • Monitor in basket for orders placed by physician and perform tasks that need to be completed; reports and accurately documents patient response. Manage workload in assigned departmental in basket to include: result notes, Rx requests, Rx response, orders, patient calls, overdue results, canceled orders, expiring orders and patient advice requests.

  • Schedule appointments and assist patient with specialty referrals and radiology testing

  • Provide After visit summary and or pre-printed patient educational material as directed by provider

  • Medication administration using the 7 rights, document, monitor, and report response.

  • Telephone management: collect pertinent patient information to help identify health care needs and document in the medical record. Report information to physician for direction of care or provide care advice as appropriate to the situation.

  • Telephone Etiquette

  • Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate staff using a caring non-rushed tone

  • Identify clinic, department, name and job title in health care team

  • Ensure accurate information is obtained and communicated to the physician in writing via the medical record

Pay Details: $44.00 to $47.00 per hour
