As a Nurse Practitioner - PRN, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents of Kwik Trip in our Health Center located in DeForest & Madison, WI.

Schedule
  • PRN as Needed During Clinic Hours
  • Clinic Hours:
    • Mon & Tue 6:30 am - 4:30 pm
    • Wed & Thu 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
    • Fri 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Provide Primary Care and Occupational Health services at clinics in DeForestand Madison
  • Potential opportunity for temporary full-time coverage in January & February 2027
What You’ll Do
  • Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
  • Conducts fitness for duty and return to work physical exams as requested.
  • Provides medically appropriate care to injured workers using evidence-based guidelines, expedites the return to meaningful work, and collaborates with the TPA and client to quarterback case management.
  • Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
  • Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
  • Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
  • Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
  • Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
  • Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
  • Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
  • Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
  • Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
  • Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
  • Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
  • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
  • Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
  • Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
  • Certification in occupational health (COHN/COHN-S/COHN-S/CM) preferred.
