Job description

Snelling is currently recruiting for an experience Construction Project Manager with a strong background in managing construction projects of varying sizes and complexities. This role has a heavy emphasis on estimating, quoting, contract review, preconstruction planning, and active coordination with field teams.
Location: Trafford, AL
  • Travel up to 20% for site walks, readiness inspections, installation oversight, commissioning, and work events
Salary range: $70,000 – $100,000, based on experience,
Primary Responsibilities of Construction Project Manager:
  • Lead construction projects from planning through commissioning and closeout
  • Estimate projects, perform material takeoffs (MTOs), and prepare customer quotes
  • Conduct and lead preconstruction meetings with internal teams and clients
  • Review customer contracts, scopes of work, and project requirements
  • Run regular stakeholder meetings once a project is under contract
  • Coordinate with company foremen/superintendents, ensuring labor and materials are properly scheduled and delivered
  • Develop and manage construction project budgets
  • Create and maintain a construction project management plan
  • Build and maintain detailed construction schedules, including deliverables and milestones
  • Manage construction resources, including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Prepare and deliver status reports to project stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills Required for Construction Project Manager:
  • Minimum two years of construction project management experience required
  • Experience estimating construction projects and preparing customer quotes
  • Prior experience managing construction sites or overseeing field crews
  • Experience coordinating with subcontractors, general contractors, and field personnel
  • Demonstrated risk management experience in construction environments
