Job Summary 

The Continuous Improvement Engineer (Temporary) will join ENNOVI for 5-6 months, on-site at our Northvale, NJ site. They are responsible for driving operational excellence by analyzing production processes to eliminate waste, improve product quality, and boost efficiency. They will use their technical knowledge to lead on-floor optimization projects, train staff on Lean methodologies, and translate data into actionable solutions to reduce costs and increase overall plant productivity. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will collaborate with their team and demonstrate ENNOVI’s values of accountability, teamwork, and integrity.


Main Responsibilities 

  • Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and defects
  • Facilitate and document Kaizen improvement events
  • Performance statistical analysis to validate process changes
  • Create and manage process performance dashboards for KPIs
  • Lead cross-functional teams in Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Perform time and motion studies to improve manual process efficiency
  • Improve manual process efficiencies
  • Develop and update SOPS and process documentation
  • Conduct internal quality audits to access compliance
  • Support digital transformation projects
  • Evaluate cost-savings opportunities and calculate project ROI
  • Assist in layout redesign and automation feasibility


Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of successful process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Experience with process mapping and value stream mapping
  • Knowledge of Kaizen and 5S methodologies
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and software
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement and/or process improvement roles
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent
  • Strong project management skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams
