  • Track delivery milestones, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure predictable, high-quality releases and customer commitments.

AWS & Cloud Technology Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership for cloud-native architectures within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Guide teams on leveraging AWS services including compute, storage, networking, serverless, databases, messaging, and security services.
  • Drive modernization initiatives including microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized.

Customer & Executive Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a trusted technology partner to client engineering leaders, directors, and executives.
  • Facilitate executive-level discussions on technology strategy, engineering roadmaps, delivery progress, and transformation initiatives.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for senior stakeholders.
  • Lead governance meetings, executive reviews, escalation management, and strategic planning sessions.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and monitor engineering KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve delivery velocity, reliability, and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remove delivery bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years managing engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience working in modern technology organizations delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and modern architectural patterns.
  • Proficiency in one or more technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, React, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale customer engagements and technology transformation programs.
  • Strong program execution, planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success influencing and managing Director, VP, and C-level customer stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Professional, or related cloud certifications.
  • Experience with AI/GenAI platforms, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, or intelligent automation solutions.

  • Improve engineering productivity, quality, reliability, and operational excellence.
