Job description

LaSalle Network is hiring an Infrastructure Operations Engineer for a global manufacturing company in Glenview, IL. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys solving challenging technical problems. The ideal Infrastructure Operations Engineer will support critical systems across identity management, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, server operations and enterprise monitoring while driving operational excellence across a global environment.
What's the job?
  • Design, maintain and remediate Active Directory environments across multiple untrusted forests
  • Manage Group Policy architecture, OU structure, security delegation and encryption policy enforcement
  • Harden identity infrastructure through authentication reviews, encryption standards and security remediation
  • Administer and optimize SCOM and SCCM, including service account management and gMSA migrations
  • Plan and execute Windows server deployments across physical and virtual environments
  • Manage VMware vSphere, Hyper-V and NetApp storage infrastructure
  • Support Delinea Secret Server and service account lifecycle management
  • Develop PowerShell automation for auditing, reporting and operational remediation
  • Administer Azure infrastructure, Azure Backup and hybrid cloud connectivity
  • Manage incidents and requests through Freshservice from intake through resolution
  • Create AI-assisted runbooks and technical documentation to support operational consistency

What's needed?
  • 5+ years of infrastructure engineering or systems administration experience
  • Strong expertise with Active Directory, Group Policy and enterprise identity management
  • Experience supporting multiple domains and complex Windows environments
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V and enterprise storage platforms
  • Experience administering SCCM, SCOM and Azure infrastructure
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills
  • Knowledge of service account governance, secrets management and security best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Glenview, IL Monday-Friday
