Job description

Must Have Skills

  • 5-7 years of professional experience, ideally in an enterprise environment handling high-volume tickets and incidents
  • Experience as an engineer resolving Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 tickets
  • Strong platform support experience, specifically within Linux
  • Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or PowerShell)
  • Experience tracking tickets in JIRA and maintaining proper documentation
  • Kubernetes OR strong automation experience (Python, Ansible)
  • Mentorship and training experience

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience working in Cloud Native environments
  • Telecom industry experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support critical applications, responding to incidents and resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize Linux servers for high performance and reliability
  • Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes
  • Automate processes using scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Maintain system monitoring solutions and analyze logs for performance tuning

Compensation
