What is a temporary power plant?

A temporary power plant is a mobile or modular facility designed to generate electricity for a limited period, usually in response to emergencies, construction projects, or events where permanent power infrastructure is unavailable or insufficient. These plants can be quickly deployed and set up to supply power during outages, peak demand, or in remote locations. They typically use diesel, gas, or renewable sources and are dismantled or relocated once their purpose is fulfilled. Temporary power plants play a key role in disaster recovery, military operations, and large-scale events.
