The ideal candidate is a confident and collaborative leader with deep experience guiding complex cybersecurity and IT programs in federal environments. This individual brings a strong foundation in enterprise technology, cloud and network security, and program delivery, along with the judgment to lead high-performing teams, build trust with stakeholders, and drive meaningful operational improvement in a mission-focused environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee all contract, program, and task order management activities in support of the client's cybersecurity and information security program.Lead and support a technically proficient, engaged team across multiple cybersecurity and RMF-related workstreams.Ensure quality, schedule, and cost control across all task areas and deliverables.Develop and maintain Project Management Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, status reports, governance artifacts, and related documentation.Support federal leadership in governance, strategic planning, and compliance oversight aligned with applicable standards and policies.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen workflows, and introduce automation and AI-enabled capabilities in a secure and compliant manner.Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders, service areas, and cybersecurity partners to manage priorities, resolve issues, and support mission outcomes.Track and manage risks, issues, change requests, staffing needs, and performance concerns while promoting accountability and transparency.Maintain strong documentation standards across SOPs, templates, reports, and governance materials.Work Experience and Job Skills:Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex enterprise IT, cybersecurity, cloud, or network security programs.Experience with enterprise IT systems, cloud systems, and network security, with the ability to lead teams of IT professionals and clearly communicate findings, priorities, and recommendations to customers and stakeholders.Extensive knowledge of project and program management practices within the network security and cybersecurity domain.Demonstrated strength in all facets of managing complex programs, including leadership, technical expertise, collaboration, communication, and hands-on cybersecurity understanding.Proven ability to work effectively in highly dynamic, fast-paced environments while balancing competing priorities and maintaining delivery quality.Experience with IT automation and the use of generative AI toolsets and architecture in support of operational improvement.Knowledge of trends in AI, securing AI applications, embedded artificial intelligence tools, data protections, and FedRAMP environments, with the ability to support AI compliance with Federal regulations.Experience supporting federal agencies or enterprise cybersecurity programs is strongly desired.Familiarity with Zero Trust, TIC 3.0, FedRAMP environments, security automation platforms, and tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and ServiceNow is a plus.Education:Bachelor's Degree is required. Preferred field of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field of study.MBA/Master's Degree in a relevant field of study preferred.Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:Desired certifications include PMI/PMP, CISSP, and ITIL.Additional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISM, CISA, CCSP, and OSCP are considered a plus.Familiarity with ISO/IEC 9001 quality management principles is also beneficial.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization.Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner.Ability to translate technical, operational, and compliance-related information into clear messaging for executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.Clearance Requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.Travel:Work under this task order is expected to be performed primarily remotely at the contractor's non-Federally controlled facility.Key personnel are expected to work onsite in Bethesda, Maryland two days per week, with onsite schedules and working hours subject to approval by Federal staff.Additional onsite meetings or temporary support within Federally controlled facilities may be required based on program needs.Environmental Requirements:Mainly a routine office environment.May be required to lift up to ten (10) poundsFlexible in working extended hoursThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
