Amida Technology Solutions is seeking a Part-time Temporary Test Automation Engineer. This role will be reported to the VP of Service Delivery. If you want to help public agencies, non-profits, and companies get their data right, we look forward to hearing from you. This position is slated for 29 hours per week for an initial period of 2-3 months with the possibility of increased hours and/or regular status for the right person. This position requires 3 days per week working in our Richmond (Glen Allen), Virginia office.

What You Will Do:

  • Create test automation scripts using Python and Java
  • Participate in end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, test case development, test execution, defect management, and reporting for both manual and automated testing efforts
  • Collaborate with development, data, and project teams to design, validate, and test system components and workflows
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education:

  • High school diploma PLUS at least 1 year of college level study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field

Required Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in test automation, building scripts using Python and Java

Required Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Superior collaboration and team-focused approach

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
  • Experience working with Medicaid systems and having knowledge of Medicaid business processes, regulations, and systems
