Salary: $18-$19/hr

Schedule: M-F, 5am - 3:30pm (50 hrs/week, overtime paid plus shifts available Saturday/Sunday at triple rate)

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Packer to join their team for a 90-day contract that could result in extension or conversion upon completion. The Packer will be responsible for stacking and packing manufactured metal parts into boxes, weighing for accuracy, and placing on palettes for shipping. They are currently working at 50 hours/week of mandatory overtime, which is paid out, and have voluntary Saturday/Sunday shifts that pay triple the rate. This role is hiring immediately (no interview with the client) and will start Monday, August 31st - candidates will need to pass a drug test and provide their own safety shoes.
Position Responsibilities

  • Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all employees.

  • Pack manufactured items according to specifications.

  • Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance with Company standards.

  • Observe all safety rules.

  • Maintain a neat and well-organized work area.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Ability to contribute as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

  • Positive can-do attitude.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices.

  • Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.

  • The position requires the ability to regularly stand.

  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
