Armed Act 235 Field Supervisor
KRE Security, LLC | Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
KRE Security, LLC is seeking a dependable, professional, and experienced Armed ACT 235 Field Supervisor to join our team. This is an overnight field-based supervisory position with a primary schedule of 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Flexibility is required, as schedules may need to be adjusted based on business and client needs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced armed security professional who can lead by example, respond appropriately to changing circumstances, support security personnel in the field, and maintain strong relationships with clients and KRE management.
Position Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support KRE security officers assigned to various client locations.
  • Conduct routine field visits, post checks, and officer welfare checks.
  • Ensure officers are properly assigned, present, and performing their duties in accordance with post orders and KRE policies.
  • Respond to incidents, officer concerns, client requests, and operational issues as needed.
  • Assist with filling coverage needs and addressing last-minute staffing concerns.
  • Provide guidance and direction to officers in the field while maintaining professional standards.
  • Assist with special client events, assignments, and temporary coverage needs.
  • Communicate effectively with KRE management, scheduling personnel, officers, and clients.
  • Complete required reports, documentation, and follow-up related to field activities and incidents.
  • Identify and communicate operational concerns to management in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent KRE Security appropriately at all times.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid Pennsylvania ACT 235 certification and the ability to legally perform armed security duties in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional armed security experience.
  • Prior supervisory, leadership, field supervision, military, or law enforcement experience is strongly preferred.
  • Former law enforcement officers and military personnel are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, employees, and the public.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between assigned locations.
  • Ability to work overnight hours and maintain schedule flexibility based on operational needs.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in challenging or high-pressure situations.

Schedule
Primary schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
This position requires flexibility. The schedule may be adjusted periodically based on business requirements, client needs, special events, staffing situations, or operational demands. The Field Supervisor may also be asked to provide coverage or assistance outside of the regularly scheduled hours when reasonably necessary.
