Summary
This position is located at: Shockwave - Fort Irwin, California.
Shockwave serves up mouthwatering pizzas, flavorful appetizers, hearty pastas, crisp salads, and so much more. The facility offers a relaxing or fun atmosphere with arcade games, pool tables, air hockey, and outdoor patio, making it the perfect spot for everyone. There are also multiple TVs for sports and entertainment, as well as a full bar.

Duties
Help
  • Performs "Hands-on" supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties.
  • Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House. Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities.
  • Assures the presence of personnel to carry out the services offered; provides information concerning services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events. Ensures staff is following established recipes and procedures.
  • Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter's guest checks. Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift.
  • Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorize employees to clock in and out; reports to functional supervisors on employee performance.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must be 21 years of age.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • A minimum of 6 months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member.
  • Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

Highly Preferred Criteria:
Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first. In addition to meeting the above qualifications, highly preferred is defined as also meeting any of the criteria listed below:
  • Skills in Microsoft Office systems
