Job description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a global organization headquartered in Chicago to identify a Senior Manager, Accounting & Global Consolidations. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and brings deep expertise in consolidation, financial reporting, and US GAAP.
Reporting into the Controllers organization, this individual will lead the global close and consolidation process, oversee critical financial reporting activities, and partner cross-functionally with Finance teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning complex accounting processes, driving continuous improvement, and delivering meaningful insights to executive stakeholders.
Budget for this role is commensurate based on experience- base salary is between $160,000-$175,000 with 20% annual bonus potential. This role requires candidates to be downtown in office 3x a week.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the preparation of global consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
  • Coordinate, review, and validate key close and reporting deliverables across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
  • Prepare and distribute the monthly global US GAAP consolidation package to executive and corporate stakeholders
  • Own the accounting and reporting aspects of the company's OneStream consolidation system
  • Partner closely with FP&A to support system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and streamline manual reporting workflows
  • Manage corporate accounting activities related to debt, derivatives and hedging, and foreign currency matters
  • Partner with Tax to support filings, provision analysis, and financial statement disclosures
  • Analyze and communicate monthly financial results to leadership
  • Lead preparation of annual consolidated financial statements, including coordination of global footnote support
  • Serve as a key point of contact during the annual external audit, particularly on consolidation and technical accounting matters
  • Collaborate across the Controllers organization and global Finance teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • CPA required
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in industry and/or financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Demonstrated technical accounting expertise and a process-improvement mindset
  • Experience leading complex close, consolidation, and reporting processes in a global environment
  • Strong communication and business partnership skills
  • Advanced systems proficiency, including Excel, Power BI, and data management tools
  • Experience with OneStream highly preferred
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
