As a Senior Financial Analyst, provide support to the Biometrics and Identity Document Reading business area within HID Global. This is a business finance role focusing on financial planning, analysis, reporting and business partnering with the business area management team and key functions, including sales, marketing, operations and engineering. Set in a team of four, the role reports to the Business Area Controller and has routine interactions with Financial Shared Services for transactional support and Group FP&A for financial reporting and planning.

As our Senior Financial Analyst, you'll support HID's success by:
  • Performing monthly analysis of the business area's financial results and preparing management presentations. Investigating variances from historical performance and against forecasts highlighting key business drivers.
  • Translating financial analysis into clear data-driven storylines and insights.
  • Creating financial models to support P&L planning and analysis, with an in-depth understanding of revenues and costs.
  • Providing financial insights to assess risk and highlighting opportunities to achieve financial commitments.
  • Supporting the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting processes, including planning for spending, headcount, cost savings, and investments.
  • Working closely with the Financial Shared Services team to ensure accuracy of the business area financials.
  • Supporting the business area reporting requirements, both recurring and ad-hoc.
  • Preparing financial presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings.
  • Partnering with the business area management team and building strong working relationships.
  • Assisting business area controllers in preparation of strategy requirements, including what-if scenario planning.
  • Completing special projects and ad hoc analysis timely and accurately as assigned.

Your Experience and Background include:
  • Bachelor's degree essential
  • Accounting qualification preferable
  • Public accounting experience with 1-2 years of post-practice industry experience, OR Commercial experience as a financial analyst 4-5 years
  • End-To-End knowledge of P&L analysis under IFRS/GAAP
  • Thorough understanding of business forecasting and financial modeling
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, advanced Excel skills essential
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar Management Information system
  • Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation and reporting system
  • Self-starter with strong communication
  • Positive attitude, ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work in a global environment and a matrix organization
