Medical Assistant – Heart & Vascular Clinic

Job Description:

Join a dynamic cardiovascular care team where you'll work directly with patients throughout their entire visit. As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a critical role in the patient experience, partnering closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care from check-in to check-out.

Work Environment:

  • Locations in Golden and Westminster, Colorado
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • This person will split time between clinic locations, with approximately one day per week spent at a secondary clinic
  • Team-oriented, patient-focused environment with significant provider interaction and mentorship opportunities
  • Fast-paced clinic setting that provides exposure to a wide variety of cardiovascular conditions, procedures, and patient populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients throughout their visit to ensure a seamless and positive experience
  • Room patients and collect vitals, medical history, and other relevant clinical information
  • Scribe during patient visits, accurately documenting provider assessments, treatment plans, and recommendations
  • Present patient information and updates to physicians prior to exams
  • Collaborate with providers following each visit to complete orders, referrals, follow-up appointments, and other patient care needs
  • Serve as a key liaison between patients, providers, and the care team to support efficient clinic operations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
