The Role

We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Research Scientist specializing in Medical AI. You will lead cutting-edge AI research and translate scientific innovations into practical healthcare solutions.

Our research spans foundation models, multimodal AI, generative AI, world models, and physical AI, with applications across medical imaging, video, audio, clinical text, and intelligent medical systems.

You will work closely with AI scientists, engineers, clinicians, and product teams to develop next-generation AI technologies for healthcare.


Qualifications & Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field;

• 5+ years of R&D experience in AI, Machine Learning, Medical AI, Computer Vision, or related fields;

• Strong expertise in deep learning and modern AI technologies;

• Research experience in one or more areas such as foundation models, multimodal AI, LLMs/VLMs, generative AI, world models, physical AI, computer vision;

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow;

• Experience using AI coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate AI research and software development is preferred;

• Strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Medical AI, such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, MICCAI, TMI, MedIA, or equivalent venues;

• Strong ability to develop practical solutions to challenging problems;

• Strong writing, communication, and cross discipline collaboration skills;

• Experience with medical imaging or other healthcare data modalities is highly desirable;

• Experience translating AI technologies into commercial products or medical devices is a plus.


Main Responsibilities

• Research and develop next-generation AI technologies for Medical AI and healthcare;

• Develop advanced foundation models, multimodal AI, generative AI, and world models for healthcare applications;

• Develop AI systems for medical images, video, audio, text, and other multimodal healthcare data;

• Lead cutting-edge research and translate research innovations into robust product solutions;

• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, clinicians, product teams, and research partners;

• Publish high-impact research and contribute to intellectual property development;

• Explore emerging AI technologies and new opportunities for healthcare innovation;
