Location: Dallas, TX 75204 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $18.00/hour

• Eligible for commission up to $3,000/month upon permanent hire

• Rotating Weekly Schedule:

  • Week 1: Monday–Tuesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Wednesday–Thursday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Week 2: Monday–Tuesday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM | Wednesday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

As a Medical Collector, you'll play an important role in helping patients resolve outstanding balances while supporting the organization's overall financial health. Through effective communication, account research, and professional negotiation, you'll ensure timely collections while maintaining a positive patient experience. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to consistently achieve production goals in a high-volume healthcare environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact patients regarding outstanding balances and negotiate payment resolutions while maintaining professionalism and empathy

• Research accounts, review payment history, and resolve billing discrepancies to facilitate timely collections

• Initiate collection efforts on delinquent accounts, including processing garnishments and liens when applicable

• Accurately document account activity and maintain compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations

• Meet established productivity and quality standards while managing a high-volume workload

• Collaborate with billing teams and other departments to resolve account issues and improve collection outcomes

• Build positive relationships with patients and coworkers while contributing to a collaborative, service-focused team environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 3 years of medical collections experience

• Previous experience in a high-volume call center environment

• Flu vaccine required for this assignment

• Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
